When Should You Replace Your Liner

Pool Liners play a crucial role in keeping water in your pool. Without them water can seep into the concrete damaging the foundation and lowering your pools water level. Below are some signs your pool liner is in need of a replacement:

Fading Color and Stains UV radiation and pool chemicals can gradually weaken, and damage your pools liner. This causes the colors of your liner to fade and stain. If your pool liners color has faded dramatically since its original installation it might be time for a replacement. Water Loss While water will evaporate over time if your water levels are inconsistent or seem to lower faster than normal it may be a sign of liner damage. Pool liners can get small rips and openings over time that are not visible, which will cause water to seep out into the foundation.  Cracks and Tears If your pool liner has visible cracks or tears its time for a replacement. Over time weathering, and UV radiation can damage a pool liner creating rips and openings for water to seep into the foundation. Wrinkles and Detached Liners When a pool liner isn't containing water it can seep behind it causing the liner to detach. This can take the form of wrinkles or portions of the liner sticking out and floating. This is a sign to get your liner replaced. prev 0{{current_slide_index}} / 0{{total_slide_count}} next
